Adapting into reality isn't the easiest thing. Neither is struggle of dealing with humans on a daily basis.
“Arman explores reality. He strives to transform and sublimate artefacts into works of art. Everyday objects become poetry for the eye.” [+]

1. Fans
First of all, most of the fans there were Japanese. Not just Japanese, but the EXTREME FAN CLUB GIRLS. I met several people who had toured around the world just to see the band in each concert. Which made me feel like a bad fan.The fans were like robots. They jumped at the same time, waved their arms in the same motion, knew exactly when and when not to sing with the band, and knew exactly when to sit when intermission approached. There were 2 songs which I did not recognize immediately. Which made me feel like a bad fan.I stood in line for Lord knows how long just to buy a friggin’ T-shirt from the merchandise table. Yet, there were Japanese girls in line with me, buying more merch than they already had from previous concerts, world tours, etc. Which made me feel like a bad fan.
2. Hyde
All of my friends know my love for Hyde. I mean come on, I was obsessed with the guy. I planned 6 different scenarios of how to steal the man’s sperm! But somehow, this recent live that I saw him, changed my WHOLE VIEWS on this man. Hyde, known to be the most manly of the band, seemed waay more feminine than usual. To me, at least. I know throughout his career he was innocent, then did minimal cross dressing, then went through a crazy masculine period, then now….it’s (I had to post this) almost as if he is gay. Now, I don’t mean that gay is bad, or my thoughts are true. At least it explains his increasing distance from his wife? It’s just that his movements, his way of seducing the audience, his dress style, his gestures, his make-up…it screams gay. I know about Japan and how boys can crossdress and it’s okay. I know how they can pass those lines of femininity it’s considered okay. But tonight, something was off. It wasn’t attractive. It was downright wrong for me. Hyde will always remain cute, and have the sexiest voice in the world, but this concert made me steer away from him. He made occasional Lady Gaga gestures and would hold his hips. Too far off the deep end. Well, there goes that.
3. The Show Itself
Amazing. It left me so content, so very at peace. It was quelling. My favorite songs were played, my least favorite songs were played, and songs I didn’t even know were played. My binoculars were amazing. My iPhone’s ability to record the video and sound quality was more than fantastic. I got my tour shirt, I got my paper fan, I got some pictures too. I understood more Japanese than I thought I would be able to, which made me proud. The band members individual speeches were adorable, and the Mayor of Honolulu crowned May 31st official L’Arc~en~Ciel day. Why did I not take more videos? Shoulda carpe diem-ed! Well, I guess since everything today went so smoothly, I felt like I had carpe diem-ed enough. I’m so satisfied…had the best lawn seats smack dab in the middle, higher than the people with assigned seating so I had clear shot to see EVERYTHING. The visual effects were really neat too, and with the band members’ shadows cast inside of them made it even more cool.
4. Aftermath
I met so many Japanese girls who now want to be my friend! I even met fan club girls who are willing to help me buy official fan club shirts that say AloHydee (get it, Aloha?) Which I thought was super sweet of them! We all exchanged contact information, made promises to meet each other in Osaka and see another L’Arc Live.

french boy # 1 is coming to Hawaii very soon.
This is going to be quite the test for me, seeing as by then I will be working 2 jobs, and juggling friends and a boyfriend.
I need write up some itineraries for him. I need to include the boyfriend as much as possible, so he doesn’t feel lonely, or left out.
I should get him around my friends, since I need to keep seeing them to maintain sanity.
It’s just, this period of waiting keeps me so bored, so purposeless, I just don’t want to be productive.
I mean come on…PLANNING 15 DAYS?! that’s quite the workload. sigh.
Maybe I’ll feel better after a shower?
I’m so bored :(
In exactly one week, you’ll be back.
